Wow! Time has flown!

I'm afraid I've neglected my blog! Bad Heather! We have been busy but who isn't busy, right? We had a great Thanksgiving. So many things to be thankful for! Got some good deals black Friday ( I know I'm crazy for going out but it is tradition!) Looking forward to Christmas!! I love this time of year!!! Here is a recent picture of the kids!

Wii

We bought the Wii! It is so much fun! We had our friends over the first night we had it! I got so in to my tennis game against Annette that I hit her with the controller!! oh my! How embarrassing!! Her husband, Matt, was dying laughing! If you ge the wii, you get a sport game that has bowling, baseball, tennis, golf, and boxing ( or as Alyssa says, foxing!) on it. They are all very fun!! I'll post some pics of us playing with Matt and Annette!

Sick kids

It is Sunday morning and I home with sick kids! Alex got sick first and now Alyssa is sick. Fun, Fun! Alyssa still wanted to go to church but we had to tell her that she didn't want to get her friends sick! And she didn't want to get them sick. It is so weird not to be at church on a Sunday morning. It makes you thankful that we live in a country where we can still worship freely. We have a man at our church who got saved in Afghanistan. They had to meet secretly for church and even now he lives with his older sister who is Muslim and can rarely come to church. It does make you thankful that God had blessed us with a free country so far. Freedoms that we take for granted but others risk their lives for.

Wow! Long time, no post!

I can't believe how long it has been since my last post!! Life has been busy, but very good!! We are supposed to close on our house this week!! Yeah! We are very excited about that! Alex is growing very fast! I think that he will be crawling soon! I don't think that I'm ready for that. Alyssa is growing up fast too! It seems like just yesterday she was my baby! Also our church is about to start an exciting new ministry! Discipleship! I'm really excited to be apart of this!
The Lord has been good to us! During tough economic times, we are blessed! My husband still has a good job, we have enough money for our needs and many times for our wants! It is so wonderful that we have a God who takes care of us! Just like David said in Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
I've posted a picture for our fun day of bowling on Saturday! Alyssa loved it!
